Academic Success
Students’ academic performance levels will increase (beyond grade level/ focused learning beyond grade level requirements but reflective of students ability to learn).

development of a year-long sequential integrated common core curriculum including STEM, the Arts, Culture

completion of 10 volunteer hours each year

STEM/Technology
Students will gain experiences that provide hands on learning which will enhance their interest and growth in the various STEM fields.
Objectives
students will learn about and develop their understanding of the STEM fields
students will learn to effectively use technology to conduct research and enhance their academic experience
envision the next wave of technology
Strategies
use of STEM specialists to assist with developing the integrated curriculum and conducting teacher and family workshops
each student is provided with a laptop/tablet/iPad/iPhone
each classroom is equipped with at least 2-4 desktop computers
use of virtual classrooms and teachers
clubs (robotics, coding, web development)

Arts and Humanities
Students will celebrate, learn and create a desire to be the next generation of their culture. They will demonstrate success beyond them as individuals understanding their connection to a larger narrative.

students will learn about their own culture and make cultural connections with shared experiences
