Components of Philosophy

Push Quality Education Inc. believes in the educational philosophy of developing curriculum and programs for the whole child. PQE Inc. focuses on academic and social-emotional achievement for the 21st century and beyond. In addition, the implementation curriculum solidified learners' acceptance and appreciation of culture and others.

Push Quality Education Inc’s model believes in 4 cornerstones to whole child instruction knowledgeable, culturally aware, competitive, and highly desirable leaders for the 21st century and beyond.

The four cornerstones are as follows:

  1.  STEM ~ Students exposed to science, technology, engineering, and math concepts, skills, and strategies that will pique their interest and cultivate a passion for STEM industries.

  2.  Arts and Humanities ~ Students learn about individuals and groups that profoundly impact society.

  3. Social Awareness ~ Students develop the ability to embody high self-confidence, social skill, and coping mechanisms.

  4. Academic Success ~ Students continuously develop their academic levels following the Common Core Learning Standards.

The Board of Director of Push Quality Education Inc. have a collective 20 years in the educational field working with students, families, and community groups in the Harlem community in New York City. Development of a healthy and academically-challenged student is rooted in the four cornerstones (STEM, Arts and Humanities, Social Awareness, and Academic Success). The cornerstones adapt for use by schools program or retrofitted for an after-school program, a summer school program, or extended break enrichment sessions.
